AP EAPCET

Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy Common Entrance Test

Practice papers and tests for AP EAPCET

AP EAPCET is Andhra Pradesh's state entrance test for engineering, agriculture and pharmacy. There is no negative marking, so every question is worth attempting. And the rank is not the test alone: 25% of it is your Intermediate PCM marks. Several coaching sites claim that weightage was removed — the official 2026 documents say it was not, so plan on it applying.

Duration
3 hours, one paper, in two sessions a day.
Papers
One paper. Engineering candidates sit the MPC stream.
Mode
Computer-based test.

Eligibility and admissions

These change from year to year. Always confirm against the current information brochure before acting on anything here.

Conducted by:
JNTU Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE.
Rank formula:
75% normalised AP EAPCET marks and 25% Intermediate PCM marks.
Qualifying mark:
25% of the maximum — 40 of 160. There is no minimum for SC and ST candidates.
Eligibility:
AP local status, Intermediate with MPC or an approved diploma, about 45% in those subjects (40% for reserved categories).
Tie-break:
Total marks, then Mathematics, then Physics, then the elder candidate.

Where this exam leads

Where the seats are

APSCHE publishes the participating-college list with each counselling round rather than keeping a permanent one. Check the current list before setting preferences.

University constituent engineering colleges under JNTU Kakinada, JNTU-GV, Andhra University and Sri Venkateswara University · Private engineering colleges and universities in Andhra Pradesh, for their convener-quota seats

Grouped by band rather than ranked one by one, because the ordering changes yearly and a branch at one institute is often worth more than a seat at a higher-ranked one. Check NIRF and the official counselling data before setting your preferences.

We do not publish closing ranks for this exam. Its counselling data is not released in a form we can verify institute by institute, and a plausible-looking invented number is worse than none — take the cut-offs from the conducting body's own counselling reports.
